We are pleased to announce that Specialty Vermiculite Corp. has recently acquired the business assets of W.R. Grace’s vermiculite and perlite division. As of January 1, 2012, Specialty Vermiculite Corp. has taken over W.R. Grace’s business of mining, milling, expanding, manufacture and sale of vermiculite, vermiculite concentrate, perlite and specialty vermiculite products. This includes ownership of the mining and processing facilities in South Carolina and additional expanding plants in Florida, Phoenix, Winnipeg and Edmonton.

We will make every effort to ensure that this change in ownership shall in no way disrupt our ability to serve our customers. Specialty Vermiculite Corp. has retained key operating personnel and related employees and the phone numbers and physical addresses for those individuals will remain the same.
